Snappy

Privacy policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

Snappy is run by [Operating company name and ABN]. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988, and the GDPR where it applies to you.

Two kinds of information

Your account: the name, email and business details you give us when you sign up, and how you use the app. We're responsible for this.

Your clients' information: the couples and contacts you keep in Snappy (names, emails, phone numbers, wedding details, documents, payments, messages). You decide what's collected and why; we store and process it only to run the service for you, following your instructions.

Wedding vendors

Vendors that couples and photographers list (a florist, a venue, a celebrant) go into a vendor directory shared across Snappy, so their public business details (business name, Instagram, website and business email) fill in automatically for the next couple. Only those business details are shared; which couples worked with which vendor, and any notes a studio keeps, stay private to that studio. Vendors can ask us to correct or remove their listing.

What we use it for

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use your clients' information for advertising.

Who helps us run it

We use a small number of trusted providers, each only for its part of the service:

Cookies

We only use the cookies the app needs: one to keep you signed in, and one to remember light or dark mode. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping it safe

Data is encrypted in transit. Sign-in links and session tokens are stored only as one-way fingerprints. Access inside your studio follows the roles you give your team.
